Cold Chisel have announced big news today, sharing that they'll be kicking off a national headline run in summer 2020.
This will be the legendary Australian group's first ever outdoor summer tour, with the first show kicking off on New Year's Eve.
They'll be stopping by Adelaide, Parramatta, Tamworth, Geelong, Fremantle, Busselton, Rutherglen, Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley, Wollongong, Canberra, Orange and Mount Cotton, with select shows as part of the popular A Day On The Green series.
The group's Parramatta concert will be the first to occur at the new Bankwest Stadium.
Dubbed the Blood Moon Tour, Cold Chisel will be joined by the likes of Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, Hoodoo Gurus, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Teskey Brothers, The Mutton Birds, Jebediah, Birds Of Tokyo, Magic Dirt and more throughout the tour.
"We want to make it bigger, better, louder than anything else out there," frontman Jimmy Barnes said at today's announcement in Sydney.
"You've got to think about it, we've toured four times really since 1983," Barnes said when asked if this will be the last tour for the group.
"I couldn't see us getting around to doing this again... It's not really that likely that we'll be doing this again."
