One of New Zealand's most popular music festivals will head to Australia next year for a massive debut event.

The One Love Festival will hit the Gold Coast on Saturday 1 February and will be headlined by Jamaican music legends Shaggy and Sean Paul.

“Australia, it’s been far too long since I’ve had the chance to perform in your wonderful country,” Sean Paul said.

“I can’t think of a better reason to get back down under, than to perform on the Gold Coast with a line-up stacked with amazing artists at One Love Festival 2020!”

Other names confirmed for the reggae festival include Toots & The Maytals, Fiji, Nesian Mystik, Sons Of Zion, 1814, Third World, Lion Rezz, Paua, and One Love DJs.

“We feel that Queensland audiences have a real affinity with reggae and toots music," MJR Presents Promoter Scott Mesiti said.

“Coupled with the stunning backdrop that Gold Coast provides; great weather, water views and a relaxed vibe, it was an obvious choice for us to hold the very first edition of One Love.”
