The NRL Grand Final entertainment has today been revealed.
US group OneRepublic are set to make their Australian return with the performance.
NRL.com has today shared the news, saying that the group are about to begin touring following a lengthy hiatus.
"We're just honoured to be invited to the party and be a part of it, we love sport events," frontman Ryan Tedder said.
"I didn't get into writing songs necessarily for sports but for whatever reason the US and everywhere else, our songs end up in so many sporting events and sports television. It's always kind of blown my mind and confused me in a really good way!"
There was speculation earlier this month as to whether US metal legends Metallica would be making an appearance at either the NRL or AFL grand finals.
This year's NRL Grand Final will take place at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on Sunday 6 October.
