Following a hugely successful first series, ABC live music show The Set is confirmed to return for a second season this year.
The Dylan Alcott and Linda Marigliano-hosted program will return to Aussie TV screens at 10pm on Wednesday 28 August and will again feature a string of huge local and international artists.
"I am absolutely stoked for season two of The Set and can’t wait to work on the show with my great friend Linda Marigliano," Alcott said.
"Everyone associated with this show is passionate about live music and entertainment on Australian television and wants to provide a platform to promote the very best current and emerging music talent.”
Marigliano added, “Dylan and I couldn’t believe it when our TV parents said we could throw another house party, and not only that, we’re throwing a bunch!
"This show is a dream to work on, the mixture of charisma and chaos between artists and audience is pure gold. We cannot wait.”
The news comes after Alcott picked up the Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent for his work on the show.
Season one of The Set featured performances from the likes of The Presets, Ball Park Music, Vera Blue and Baker Boy.
