Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar have reportedly been tapped on the shoulder to perform their Oscar-nominated songs at next month's ceremony.

As Variety reports, Academy executives and show producers have nominated Gaga to perform Shallow, from A Star Is Born, and Lamar to perform his and SZA's hit song, All The Stars, from Black Panther.

Both tracks are nominated in the Best Song category for this year's Oscars, taking place in LA on 24 February.

Gaga is also in the running to win the Best Actress award for her critically-acclaimed performance in A Star Is Born.

Meanwhile, both A Star Is Born and Black Panther have scored nominations for Best Picture.
