RNB Fridays Live has just revealed US rapper T-Pain has had to pull out of the forthcoming events which were due to kick off in Perth tomorrow.
The festival shared a post on Facebook stating, "RNB Fridays Live regretfully announce T-Pain will no longer be performing in Australia due to an illness in the family. We wish T-Pain and his family all the best at this difficult time and hope fans are respectful of this decision."
The festival also shared a statement from T-Pain.
“I want to deeply apologise to my fans for not being able to make it to Australia," it reads.
"I have a close family member in the hospital whose condition just got severely worse and it is important for me to be home with him in this super difficult time. I hope you understand and I promise to make it up to y’all soon.
"I was really looking forward to giving you a great show at RNB Friday's Live. I love you my fans and thanks for the continued support and prayers for my family.”
The festival has announced there will be no replacement but rather co-headliners Usher and Lil Jon will extend their set.
