After helping the likes of Stella Donnelly, Verge Collection and more, WA-based arts grant Tapped By Otherside has announced plans to double its funding.

An initiative by Otherside Brewing Co, the grant focuses on creative industries and independent talent, awarding to $30,000 to WA creatives across music, film and arts in 2017/18, with plans to increase that figure to $60,000 in 2018/19.

Tapped By Otherside has also announced it will match artist-led crowdfunding campaigns dollar for dollar up to a set amount.

“Match-funding is a really effective way to double TappedbyOtherside’s impact and reach,” Otherside Brewing co-director David Chitty said.

“It provides independent artists with a vehicle to grow their profiles and secure new audiences.

“It also gives us an opportunity to support the consumer movement by further funding projects and artists that they care about.”
