Longstanding Northlane bassist Alex Milovic has announced his departure from the metalcore outfit.
In a statement on Facebook, the band cited “personal growth” as one of the reasons, with Milovic saying it was with “mixed emotions” he step down from his role in the band.
“There have been a number of contributing factors over the past year that have led me to make this decision and although it wasn't an easy decision to make, I feel this is the best thing for me,” Milovic said.
“Music has always and will always be a huge part in my life and has helped shape the person I am today.
“I'd like to thank all of our friends, families and fans that have supported myself and Northlane over the years, it has been one hell of a roller coaster ride that could not have been possible without your love and support.”
Northlane will still perform on the Never Say Die! Tour across Europe and Australia’s Good Things Festival later this year, promising a “new line-up, which will include one of our oldest and closest friends in music, to be announced shortly.”
