This year's NAIDOC theme is 'Because of Her, We Can!' and Melbourne Museum's Nocturnal series has gotten right behind it with a formidable line-up of Indigenous women this 6 Jul.

Headlining the program is enigmatic singer-songwriter Thelma Plum in her Nocturnal debut, joined by dynamic rhythm and blues chameleon Mojo Juju and the ascendent neo-soul singer with the powerhouse voice, Kaiit.

DJ Sovereign Trax will also hit the decks with a set highlighting First Peoples artists and Blak Writers' Jane Harrison has curated a side-stage devoted to poetry, spoken word and storytelling from Koorie and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
