Following two hugely-successful seasons and a US spin-off (developed by Will freakin' Ferrell) Aussie comedy series No Activity will return this year for a very special and one-off Christmas special.
No Activity: The Night Before Christmas will see detectives Hendy & Stokes go on a Christmas Eve stakeout as a disgruntled Santa Claus holds a group of innocent shoppers hostage inside a suburban shopping mall.
The special will premiere exclusively on Stan this December.
"No Activity has made its way around the world, from Hulu in the US to the BBC in the UK," Stan's Chief Content Officer, Nick Forward, said.
"With another season of the US version to come later in the year, now feels like the right time to bring the team back to Australia for a very special production and we can’t wait to see what kind of havoc Trent, Patrick and the team wreak on Christmas 2018."
The news comes after Stan confirmed this week that it has flown past one million active subscribers (with an eye already on eclipsing two million), as well as exclusive deals with Hollywood giants, Lionsgate and Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM).
The deal with Lionsgate will see the Canadian-founded company bring a massive slate of STARZ original series to the SVOD service, including the already-released Sweetbitter and Vida.

Seasons one and two of No Activity are currently streaming on Stan.
