Entering its third year, the Beer, Footy & Food Festival will return to Marrickville's Henson Park next month.
Taking place on 28 July, the inner west event will feature full flavoured beer, great food and a wealth of footy thanks to the Newtown Jets, expanding on the previous two efforts to deliver something massive.
Following on from John Lynch's infamous announcement that one particular game in the '90s was attended by 8,972 people (attendance figure may not be accurate), the 2018 Beer, Footy & Food Festival is looking to reach the figure for real this time, following the last two events that were attended by over 3,000 and 5,000 people respectively.
To help cheer the Jets along on the day, food vendors such as Burgers By Josh, Soul Burgers and Bovine & Swine will be on hand, as well as drinks by Grifter Brewery, Young Henrys and Urban Winery.
