Following his sell-out tour of the country in 2016, UK comedian Bill Bailey has announced he will return to Australia this year as one of the headline acts for the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival.
The Black Books star will bring his Earl Of Whimsy show to the country in October, with gigs lined up in Perth, Darwin, Cairns, Townsvile, Toowoomba, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Mackay, Rockhampton, Melbourne, Geelong, Wollongong, Canberra, Hobart, Launceston, Adelaide, Newcastle and Sydney.
The Earl Of Whimsy set showcases Bailey's trademark blend of satire and surrealism, however it will have a distinctly historical feel featuring tales of Britain's fortunes past and present, ancient Viking battles and Shakespeare's contribution to comedy.
Tickets for the tour go on sale from 1pm on Tuesday 5 June; for more details, click on theGuide or scroll down.
