As News.com.au reports, Sandilands slammed Rusciano's ratings (a 2.9% share versus Kyle & Jackie O's 11.1% share) as "terrible" and "disgusting", adding an offer to buy the station he and Jackie Henderson walked away from in 2013.
"I offer you now 2Day FM, I’ll buy your licence for $20," Sandilands said on air this morning.
"I offered $1 million recently, now I’m offering $20."
In a fiery clapback delivered via Facebook, Rusciano responded to Sandilands' comments.
"… My radio show has twice the engagement levels online than yours does," the statement reads.
"I don’t feel humiliated or pathetic in any way shape or form.
"The radio ratings will come, and the fact that you keep mentioning me on your show proves that you know it too."

Today’s less-than desirable ratings come just a week after Rusciano’s co-host, Harley Breen, revealed that he will not be returning to the show next year.
Breen is set to be replaced by Triple M Brisbane’s Ed Kavalee.
