A man has denied murdering WA musician and promoter Jaime Rodolpho Fernandez (aka DJ Suave) last year.
The 41-year-old Chile-born DJ was found in his Tuart Hill apartment on 19 July, while police believe he died three days earlier.
As AAP reports (via Herald Sun), the accused, Victor Amaya, appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from prison today and pleaded not guilty.
The 28-year-old Balga local will appear in the Supreme Court of WA on 23 October.
Fernandez moved to Australia almost two decades ago, establishing himself as a revered member of the scene and toured with some of the biggest Latino acts around the country with his business partner, Don Juan Entertainment.
