Following last month's news that brand new EDM festival, Lunar Electric, will be hitting NSW in 2018, organisers have given fans yet another reason to consider themselves a lock with the announcement that Timmy Trumpet will headline the event.

Juggling over 200 shows per year, including club and festival spots, the Sydney DJ will head to Port Macquarie on 6 January to close out the inaugural festival.

Also announced on the bill today includes ARIA Award-nominated duo Bombs Away, SA producer Uberjack'd and Sydney's own Jesse Bloch.

The newly-announced acts join Will Sparks, Tigerlily and Tyron Hapi on the Lunar Electric line-up and more artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Second release tickets for the festival are on sale now; for more details, head over to theGuide.
