Irish-Australian folk singer/songer Áine Tyrrell (pronounced Awn-yuh) has announced a 12-date single launch tour in support of her latest release, Don't Be Left Crying.

Setting off mostly solo on the road this time, Tyrrell will have Don't Be Left Crying from her EP coming out in August, Fledging Fall, in tow.

Having worked with Glen Hansard on the album and Don't Be Left Crying, Tyrrell says, "While most songs start off as personal, as this one did with my own heartbreak after a break-up, what makes a song powerful is when you can make the personal universal.

"This is where Glen and I agreed to serve the song. He added in some words that could have come straight from my heart or anyone. That is the beauty of song crafting," Tyrrell finishes.

The tour kicked off on 7 May and will continue on until 17 June. Check out the new single here.
