In a sign that Sony may have succumbed to public pressure and cut ties with Dr Luke (real name Lukasz Gottwald), new court papers show that the producer is no longer the CEO of the record company he founded with Sony in 2011.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, documents show that not only does Gottwald no longer serve as CEO for Kemosabe Records, but that he also has no authority to act on its behalf.

Gottwald's page on the Sony Music website has also been removed.

Nor he or Sony Music have publicly commented on the speculation.

The news comes as Gottwald's legal battle with pop singer Kesha continues, who in 2014 alleged he sexually and emotionally abused her during their working relationship.

Following Kesha's claims, Gottwald hit back with his own defamation claims which are still pending and his attorneys are reportedly putting evidence together as to how his own career has suffered following the allegations ahead of the trial.

The Music has contacted Sony Music for comment.
