Continuing to ride the wave of her success, Alex Lahey, who has just finished touring the UK with Tegan & Sara and is about to head off to the US for a tour and SXSW appearance, has announced a national headline tour back home.
Upon her return to Australia, Lahey will be performing at A Day On The Green shows before setting out on her Wes Anderson tour in May, with shows lined up in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. The Melbourne singer will also join the likes of Birds Of Tokyo, Peking Duk and Safia at the Big Pineapple Music Festival on the Sunshine Coast.
After landing a spot on triple j’s Hottest 100 and announcing she’s signed with label Dead Oceans, 2017 is already shaping up to be a huge year for Lahey, who will be performing songs from her upcoming debut album on tour.
