Ahead of their massive tour this coming February with US post-metal outfit Neurosis, Sydney-based group DISPOSSESSED are playing some big gigs throughout Melbourne.
Having played in Brunswick yesterday, the band will also hit the stage at The Tote on Saturday 7 January alongside a slew of local acts including Habits, Friendships, Divide & Dissolve, Vacuum and Geld & Sezzo Snot.
Proceeds from The Tote gig will go towards the Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance.
DISPOSSESSED said of the additional gigs, "These shows will be played on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, for which sovereignty was never ceded, with respect to their Elders past and present, and in solidarity to the continued struggle for the rights of Aboriginal people".
