Punk/mariachi outfit Mariachi El Bronx — the charro-suited alter-ego of punk band The Bronx — have revealed plans for a last minute Melbourne Cup Day show tomorrow, where they'll take to Collingwood's The Gasometer.

The octet have just played Lost Lands festival over the weekend and also have a national tour with Violent Soho about to kick off (as The Bronx), but pour those tequila sunrises because the band are set to make your Cup Day public holiday even more awesome.

Mariachi El Bronx will be playing with American surf rockers Pounded By The Surf as well as The Tarantinos. The band will also be playing with Pounded By The Surf and Polish Club at a Sydney headline show.
