Cult-favourite boutique event Jungle Love Music & Arts Festival has announced a massive line-up for this year's third annual instalment, featuring more than 50 established and emergent local acts to please ears of all persuasions this November.

Seriously, the spread of sounds on offer for 2016 is pretty insane: there's the irreverence of BugsThe Jensens, and Tijuana Cartel; the effusive energy of Cheap FakesFamily JordanThe Keepaways and Shag Rock; the eclectic experience of Michelle Xen & The Neon WildHazards Of Swimming NakedSimi Lacroix and Meredith; and the addictive stylings of Sahara BeckZefereliThe Con & The LiarTwin HausBenebThe Brains Trust and many more, for a total of 53 acts gracing the event all up.

Returning to its idyllic Sunshine Coast stomping grounds (featuring picturesque camping grounds and a freshwater swimming hole to boot), Jungle Love is raising the bar (literally) on its acclaimed second year with the inclusion of a two-storey treehouse bar set in-between the festival's two main stages, from which artists and VIPs will be able to look out over the entire festival kingdom and take in all its delights from a central, convenient location.

It's not just the treehouse sending the allure levels spiking, however; this year, Jungle Love's organisers have hinted at the presence of "secret micro-venues", "hidden experiences" and "pleasant surprises", including visual art installations and impromptu performances, to name just a couple of possibilities. Additionally, if you're feeling frisky or fanciful, the festival's official-but-not-really Sanctuary Of Seduction stands tall to help festival-goers thoroughly engage with the wholly inclusive, love-happy nature of the event.

The 2016 Jungle Love Music & Arts Festival is once again a BYO experience, though the on-site licensed bars alleviate at least some of the pressure in case you're the absent-minded type and liable to leave your booze behind. The festival will also be once again providing on-site bikes — rainbow bikes this year, in a symbolic gesture of support for the LGBTQI community — for its attendees to use at their leisure to get around the grounds.

This mecca of community spirit and positive vibes returns to Borumba Deer Park, Sunshine Coast, from 25-26 November. Tickets are available now, with payment plans available until 27 September.
