Sydney pop artist Le Pie has announced the release of her debut EP, and he said honey, you look so fine, on August 27, with an accompanying East Coast tour.
After playing in punk bands during her youth, the emotive singer took a different path last year, as she began to explore the pop textures and melodies of girl groups from the 1960s.
Her music investigates the complexity of modern love through the lens of dreamy and distant, retrograde compositions.
Playing her first headlining slots across the eastern states, Le Pie will visit Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne and Brisbane throughout August and September.
