British India
National Album Tour
Aussie indie-rock vets British India are making the final preparations ahead of the release of their eagerly awaited fifth studio full-length, Nothing Touches Me, next month with the announcement of a national tour to be undertaken in the wake of its release throughout April and May.

The band will set off for their comprehensive, almost-20-date-strong tour at The Gap View Hotel, in Alice Springs, on Thursday, 16 April, taking in appearances in Darwin, Adelaide, Albury, Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Gold Coast, Caboolture (for the Urban Country Music Festival), Launceston, Hobart (twice), Dunsborough, Perth, Fremantle, Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne before wrapping it all up at The Workers Club, in Geelong, late the next month, on Saturday, 30 May.

British India will enjoy national support from esteemed South Australian punk outfit Grenadiers, with special guest appearances from West Australian upstarts Tired Lion from 15-30 May. In Alice Springs and Darwin, Unbroken Expanse step up to the support role to supply a touch of home-grown Territorian rock.

Of course, Nothing Touches Me will be available for purchase well in advance of the tour kicking off — the album is scheduled for release on Friday, 13 March, via Liberation, having already yielded two singles: first cut Wrong Direction and new release Suddenly, which you can listen to below.
