A music event brought to you by Amplifire and Mucho Bravado
Track & Field

Brisbane’s newest and arguably most exciting boutique music event – Track & Field – is back with a second event to be held at The Arena, Friday November 25.

Once again presented by local music companies Amplifire and Mucho-Bravado, the event features another star-swollen line-up of Australian indie talent. It includes Gold Coast punk-rockers Bleeding Knees Club, Sydney psychedelic heroes Deep Sea Arcade, Brisbane party-starters Velociraptor and the rapidly emerging locals Gung Ho as well as DJ sets from indie-darlings Little Scout, audio/visual stimulants Naysayer and Gilsun and Unnecessary Knowledge DJs, a local radio duo consisting of Branko Cosic and Rachel Tinney.

Addressing the change of venue to The Arena, Mucho-Bravado’s Ben Preece explains: “Track & Field was never really going to sit still and that’s the beauty of it in a way. The Arena is once again hosting live music and it really has that multiple-room adventurous vibe we want to eventually nail with our event. The venue offers us not only a main stage but DJ rooms and chill out areas to ”

Amplifire’s Stu McCullough adds: “As promised, we’re getting bigger and better with expanded venue facilities but true to our original brief, we’re keeping our ticket price low and again offering a limited early bird discount to true believers as well as the bands’ fanbases.”

November 25 sees Track & Field take over the main stage and additional rooms of The Arena. With the assistance of extra lighting and sound equipment, the venue will be transformed into the perfect setting for a killer night of music.
