Funk N Grooves Festival - new home, new attitude
For the 2nd consecutive year, The Funk N Groove Festival will bring the Hunter Valley alive this September. Originally morphing from Bimbadgen Blues, Roots, Funk N Grooves in 2009 this year will see us settle into our new home at 1882 Broke Road (next door to Tyrrell’s Vineyards)!
We are already sick of the cold weather so as soon as spring hits, we plan to let loose with our biggest line up yet including Gyroscope,, who will be in fine form with their new album ‘Cohesion’ debuting at #3 on the Aria Album Charts earlier this year, Spiderbait, British India, whose 3rd album ‘Avalanche’ was released in April, the unique and talented Bertie Blackman, Urthboy, Washington, Resin Dogs and many more.
Pop, rock, funk, dance, roots, soul and more in the fantastic natural setting of Hunter Valley Wine Country. With the mountains and vineyards as a backdrop, some of the best live acts Australia has to offer and plenty of room to groove, this is a perfect way to kick into Spring. Dancing, partying and indulging with family and friends.
Here at F’N’G headquarters, priority number one is that everyone has a great time and gets home safe so we have made sure there are plenty of transport options that mean you can leave your car at home. Buses, Hummers and Luxury Cars which will take you to the first festival of the season can all be found at www.funkngrooves.com.au
