Once again The Brewery will be the place to be to party into the New Year. The Newcastle foreshore venue has quickly cemented a reputation nationwide for hosting outstanding New Year’s Eve events, as some of Australia’s leading acts including Silverchair, Grinspoon and Pnau have all graced the stage in recent years. This year is definitely no exception as The Brewery delivers a line up featuring some of the most dynamic rock performers on the live music scene today promising a show of high diversity and quality. What better band to welcome in 2010 and to headline this event but The Living End! The multi ARIA award winning band and recent APRA Song of Year award winners are a national touring favourite with an outstanding reputation for white-hot live performances. Joining The Living End on the bill is post-rock trio Children Collide, fresh from tearing up festival stages nationwide and selling out their own tours, fast tracking Brisbane alternative rock band Dead Letter Circus and Newcastle’s favourite local roots fused rock outfit, Benjalu. Tickets for New Year’s Eve at The Brewery go on sale on Friday October 9th and cost just $66.00 plus booking fee.

As an added bonus for New Year revellers this year, anyone who purchases an early bird ticket (ie: before Friday November 20th) will go into the draw to win an exclusive rock experience! One winner and a friend will get special pre-show access to attend the sound checks for both The Living End and Children Collide and then meet both bands over pizza and drinks before the show kicks off. Once gates open the lucky winners will enjoy VIP access for the show. A reminder though New Year’s Eve at The Brewery is an over 18’s only event so relevant photo identification will be required.
