Plans for Brisbane’s newest concert venue in the West End, The Brisbane Big Top, have temporarily been put on hold due to approval issues with the local authorities.

But fear not as The Big Top's first headline shows are still going ahead with The Living End  heading across the water to The Riverstage, and De La Soul topping a massive line up at The Tivoli.

DE LA SOUL have earned themselves a huge following in Australia and internationally since the release of their ground-breaking debut album ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ in 1989
We last saw the good-time guys in early 2008, but this time they’re splashing out and coming with a 10-piece band, made up of seasoned players from across the USA, handpicked by DE LA SOUL.

The Brisbane show at The Tivoli on Sunday 3rd May will be part of the trio’s most comprehensive tour of Australia to date – and they promise to “re-create the classics from the ground up, 100% live.”

All tickets previously purchased for De La Soul at The Big Top are valid for The Tivoli.

With the change of venue to The Tivoli the De La Soul show is now strictly 18+ Only. Ticket holders under the age of 18 will need to contact the point of purchase for a refund.
The Brisbane Big Top will return in a new City location for a season in August 2009 .
