Local pop rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer have debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart with their new LP, CALM.
It’s the group's fourth-straight #1 album in Australia and has blocked Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia and Pearl Jam’s Gigaton, which have debuted at #2 and #3 respectively.
The Sydney outfit also debuted at #1 in the UK, gifting the band their second top-charting record in the country following 2015's Sounds Good Feels Good.
US icons Pearl Jam were aiming for their third consecutive #1 album in Australia with their long-awaited 11th studio album, which The Music noted could be their most divisive since 1996’s No Code.
Aussie rockers The Chats have debuted at #5 with High Risk Behaviour, while US rapper Joyner Lucas has cracked the top 10 with ADHD (#9) and The Wiggles’ Fun And Games debuts at #44.
Over on the Singles chart, Dua Lipa’s Break My Heart debuts at #7, with Don't Start Now (#3) and Physical (#9) also in the top 10, while The Rubens’ Live In Life moves up to #21 and new music from Megan Thee Stallion, Rihanna, Doja Cat and more enters the top 50.
