A decade of music making at Venue 505 brought Jazz and Funk to the foreground in Surry Hills with three resident gigs making their mark and growing communities of fans. Over three nights, Monday Jazz Jam, Old School Funk & Groove Night and Blue Wednesday Jazz Lounge, each brought their own unique flavour to the venue.
Now in 2020, these nights will live on in the spirit in which they were born at Surry Hills hippest cocktail bar and lounge, Low 302! Following their recent renovation, new state of the art sound system and all of the original band member and good vibes intact, this is huge news for the Sydney music scene.

Sunday Jazz with the Wizards of WAZ
Now in it's 9th to 11th year residency (depending on who you ask), Jazz with WAZ showcases some of Australia's best musicians. Weekly spots feature Aaron Blakeyon their baby grand piano & David 'The Major' Glyde on all the saxes, with a roster of special guests including Jonathon Zwartz on double bass & Hamish Stuart on drums.
