Music, arts, food and culture collide at the heart of Fremantle, with the family-friendly Fremantle Folk Festival activating the historic Princess May Park, Clancy's Fish Pub and surrounds.

The all-day extravaganza revolves around a large outdoor stage plus the iconic Clancy's stage, decked out with impressive lighting, visuals, decorations, and roaming entertainers. Limited capacity means you can expect minimal clashes, good facilities, shorter lines and a classic house party feel.

Continuing Clancy's long history of championing local live music, this predominantly West Australian line-up is a celebration of the incredible music our state has to offer, featuring both local legends and rising stars. Highlights include ARIA award winner Bob Evans, Melbourne festival fixtures Things of Stone and Wood, multi WAM award winner Grace Barbé, cheeky troubadour Peter Bibby, folk prodigy Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks and the beloved rock n blues sounds of Blue Shaddy.

It wouldn't be the Fremantle Folk Festival without a few surprises too, such as the Chung Wah Chinese Orchestra and a giant pub choir led by the brilliant Jim Fisher and Natalie Gillespie. Plus, don't miss the Ring of Fire jam session, with a circle of musicians taking turns performing their favourite sing-a-longs.

While there's plenty of incredible live talent and delicious craft beer for the grownups, there'll also be a fully dedicated kids activity area. With kid-friendly workshops and shows in the Circus WA big top and Nature Play zone, the festival promises to be a sensory delight for all ages.
