The short version
Your Oztix events now appear inside Spotify. When someone streams an artist who’s playing one of your shows, that gig shows up right where they’re listening - in their Live Events feed, in search, in the weekly Concerts Near You playlist, and on the artist’s profile.
They find the show on Spotify and buy their tickets on Oztix, the way they always have. It’s free, it’s automatic, and it puts your event in front of the people most likely to come.
Why it’s worth your while as an Oztix ticket seller
Found by the right fans
Not a broadcast - your show reaches the people who already have the artist on repeat.
No extra cost
Free distribution. Your settlement is unchanged.
No extra work
Once your event is listed properly, it surfaces on its own - usually within 24 hours.
Reach beyond your own channels
Your socials reach the people who already know you. This reaches everyone who loves the artist.
The discovery the majors have - now yours
Independent gigs, right next to the music people already love.
Make sure your show is seen
Mostly there’s nothing to do, just sit back and enjoy the perks of selling via Oztix. But to make sure your event shows up - and shows up against the right artist:
- Put the artist’s name in the event title, spelled the same way every time. That’s how the act gets matched.
- Check the essentials are filled in: artist name, start time, venue and event name.
- Running a tribute or “music of …” show? Do not list it as the original artist. We’ll make sure it’s represented as the tribute act, so it reaches the right fans rather than the original artist’s.
For the fans
The artists you stream are playing live - now Spotify helps you find them.
Open the Live Events feed, search your favourite act, or check your Concerts Near You playlist. Follow the artists you love so Spotify knows to tell you when they’re playing nearby. Find the show on Spotify, buy your tickets on Oztix.
