Join the spirited movement as Tasmania's most highly awarded distilleries showcase their finest small-batch gins at Gin-uary, the Tasmanian Gin Festival.

Gin-uary was created to celebrate Tasmania's budding gin industry. Tasmania is known for its high quality and locally made produce – and gin is no different!

Tasmania is the birthplace of modern day distilling and now in its third year, Gin-uary is a crucial event for the Tasmanian spirits industry, placing them on the map. Gin-uary gives distillers national exposure and offers local and interstate consumers the opportunity to sample a variety of well known, as well as lesser known, Tasmanian gins.

Over two sessions, gin lovers will have the opportunity to engage with distillers from 26 of Tasmania's boutique distillers and taste over 60 gins from their collective portfolios.

Long touted for its whisky, in recent years many Tasmanian distillers have made the move into gin production, resulting in a foray of global and Australian accolades for varieties across the island state. Gin-uary provides these makers, often remote in location and boutique in nature, an opportunity to share the fruits of their labour with the greater public.

Presented in partnership with 9/11 Bottle Shop, Gin-uary offers a range of ticketing options to suit gin lovers across the spectrum. From the Gin Lover general entry ticket, where punters will taste and mingle to their heart's content to a truly immersive Gin Connoisseur experience, where guests can become a "distiller for a day" creating their own take-home gin at McHenry Distillery. This three day experience also includes private transfers, an exclusive four-course dinner with matched gin cocktails, a gin and chocolate matching masterclass and VIP access and entry to the Gin-uary Festival.
